How to choose a Verkada installer

Verkada sells only through authorized partners, so the installer you pick shapes your quote, your install quality, and who answers the phone for the next decade.

What a partner does

Buying Verkada starts with choosing a partner

01

Design and quote

A partner walks your site (or floor plans), picks camera families and mounting positions, scopes doors and sensors, and prices hardware, licenses, and labor as one quote.

02

Install and configure

PoE cabling, mounting, and Command platform setup: users, sites, alert rules, retention settings, and integrations. Devices come online in minutes each, and it's all low-voltage work.

03

Support for the license term

Warranty claims and next-day RMAs, license renewals, and system expansions. Verkada provides 24/7 platform support; your partner is the hands on site.

For scale: the City of Los Angeles measured over 4 hours of install labor saved per device versus its previous NVR-based systems: cabling one PoE line beats building out recorder infrastructure.

Vetting checklist

Six questions to ask before you sign

Are you an authorized Verkada partner?

Anyone can resell gray-market hardware; only authorized partners can register deals, quote licenses properly, and pull in Verkada engineering support. Verkada's own partner finder at verkada.com/installation lists authorized companies.

Who exactly supports us after go-live?

The right answer names people, response times, and how warranty RMAs are handled.

How do you design the system and scope the quote?

Retention drives camera model choice (up to 365 days on-device), license term drives effective annual cost, and deployment-planning software catches placement problems before install day.

Can we start with a 30-day trial?

Verkada's 30-day trial ships hardware with free two-way shipping.

Do you do low-voltage cabling in-house or sub it out?

Either can work, but you want a single party accountable for schedule and workmanship, and a cabling warranty in writing.

Have you deployed in our kind of facility?

Mounting heights, washdown areas, freezers, yards, and OSHA-sensitive zones each change hardware choices. Ask for references from your industry.

Where Azentri fits

We're an authorized Verkada partner based in Colorado, specializing in industrial facilities (warehouses, manufacturers, distributors) where cameras, door hardware, and sensors work around forklifts, docks, and shift schedules. Deployments are modeled in Verkada's Site Planner, so the bill of materials and quote come back in days, and a lean cost structure without big-integrator overhead shows up in the price. Front Range installs are ours end to end; beyond Colorado we design and quote from floor plans.
